Buying & downloads
What do I get when I buy a file?
Digital STL files, not a printed model. Nothing is shipped: you download the files and print them at home, on your own printer.
Where do I download my files?
When you check out, the download link appears on the order page and arrives by email. Can't find the email? Check your spam folder, or write to us at info@txarlifactory.com with your order number.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and more, through Shopify's secure checkout.
Licenses
Personal or commercial license: which one do I need?
Every file comes with a personal license: print it for your own games and your own collection.
If you sell what you print, you need the commercial license for that range. The ones on this website are bought like any other product and are for life. They start at €40 and let you sell the prints, never the files. See the licenses
Patreon and Tribes have their own commercial licenses. Those are monthly and can only be bought there: on Patreon or on Tribes.
Printers & supports
Filament or resin: which printer do I need?
It depends on the file, and the seal on its cover tells you. Most terrain is designed to print on filament (FDM) printers without supports and carries the FDM Friendly seal. Miniatures need supports, so they come PRE-SUPPORTED, ready for resin.
Some ranges, like Blank Bases 2.0 (Round), include both versions.
Do I need to add supports?
Files with the FDM Friendly seal are made to print without supports. Files with the PRE-SUPPORTED seal already include them. Check the cover image of each file before you buy.
Refunds
Can I get a refund?
Because our files are digital, we can't offer a refund once you've received them, with one exception: if you bought the same file twice, write to us at info@txarlifactory.com and we'll refund the duplicate.

I'm on Patreon or Tribes. When do the sets reach the store?
Every month there are two new terrain sets, one sci-fi and one fantasy. Patreon and Tribes members get them first, and the store gets them the month after.
